SCSSD serves four distinct Community Districts. The residents from each District elect a Community Director and Alternate Community Director to represent their neighborhood and serve on the Board of Directors for a four-year term. Board decision-making is based on seven votes, with the four Community Directors having one vote each, and the three Sports Venue Directors holding the remaining three votes. All directors and alternates serve on a voluntary basis without compensation. In total, the SCSSD represents approximately 9,000 residents living in 4,200 households.
