New SCSSD Logo and Website
In 2011, SCSSD undertook a challenge to improve the applications of SCSSD branding and internet communications. The result is a “refreshed” logo and the proud launching of this brand new website! The updated logo includes a form of the prior icon, but with new fonts and the addition of “South” to "Philadelphia”, an important identifier of neighborhood pride. The new SCSSD website can be updated by SCSSD internally and will continue to evolve with more timely additions into the future. We hope you find the new SCSSD logo applications aesthetically pleasing, and this new website informative and easy to navigate.

Residents also assisted SCSSD with future strategic planning by providing nearly 2,000 written comments. SCSSD will be sharing a more detailed summary of survey results in the next SCSSD ‘Neighborhood Notes’ newsletter.

SCSSD Cleaners Ready for Fall Leaves
Each season presents new and unique challenges for the SCSSD Residential Cleaning Team. From the excessive heat to the extreme cold, from the rain to the wind to the snow, the Team continues to pursue the primary goal of zero tolerance for neighborhood litter. Our next challenge is the pick-up of fallen leaves and our Team is well prepared. SCSSD is proud to assist neighbors with this service, as a secondary goal of the cleaning program. While we do not expect to capture all of the leaves as they drop, we are committed to revisiting every street as often as we can until all leaves are collected.
