The SCSSD Residential Cleaning Program started operations in August of 2005. This is the most visible and costly SCSSD program. The Residential Cleaning Team includes five employees that visit each area of the District on average once per week, cleaning neighborhood streets and sidewalks with the goal of zero tolerance for litter. The Cleaning Teams also assists neighbors with the pick-up of tree leaves during the fall season. Over two years of operation, the Cleaning Team has collected over 17,000 bags of litter and leaves, an estimated 200 tons. View Photos
